El Rancho Middle School. - This was a big game. I talked with one of the Desert Dads beforehand and the way he explained it to me was that the winner would essentially grab the league title... and a bump up to the prestigious Gold Division next season. He also talked about how around the league the program at Canyon is well respected... since my experience is pretty much confined to just here, that was refreshing to hear. This was a physical game with Desert running Makenna the goalie early and payback being dished out not long after.
