El Rancho Middle School. - This one was an early 8am start. The sun casts a yellow tint that early and there was some long shadows for the first half of the game. There’s actually more Brea than Canyon in this batch because in the second half they were headed towards the favorable light. It was good to see Kylee score one. She doesn’t have great luck when I visit; she’s been sick, injured or stuck playing goalie with no action. The goalie for AC Brea was really busy, there’s quite a few of her. Some of the Canyon girls that normally get a lot of camera time either just weren’t having the ball come their way or were still sleeping, BUT I did get some good ones of Sydney! Same with the last Medlin post from Labor Day. Aside from the goalie she’s usually the furthest from me and if the ball does go her way there’s traffic to go with it.
