You’ve got to be pretty special for me to drive a half hour to take your picture... even MORE special if I go in your car! (And EXTRA SPECIAL if I agree to let you play your iPod Dance Party Music over the speakers the whole time.) My next door neighbor and good pal Riley is that special. I’ve shot her Arsenal team before, Spring 2010, and Spring 2011. It was another gloomy day, this time in Corona Del Mar. After processing this set for a few minutes, I just decided to blow it out Sloppy Style. I love the painted look and it just works well with this type of weather. When I go out with one main target I feel a little extra pressure and can come away a little frustrated, but not today. I must have a dozen great shots of Riley, so many I can’t decide which to share, (and her dad Andy as a linesman!) I’ve posted a few on Facebook, so she can tag her teammates.
