Linda Vista Elementary School, Yorba Linda, Ca. - “Sloppy’s Delivers” or at least tries hard! This game had been scheduled for a long time. I knew the Crocs team wanted to order a set of Custom Trading Cards, and there wasn’t much wiggle room if this game was canceled. It was supposed to rain, but the field was open. I got there a little early to shoot some warm ups, and I’m glad I did. I shot over 500 pics this game and only kept about 100. If I’m going to continue doing this, I’m going to need a low light lens. When the cards are done, I’ll link them from here too. On to the game. I have watched a lot of soccer, and I don’t recall a more heated U7 game. This one had the parents on both sides in a frenzy, it was a big game. Since the field is relatively small, parents can yell at the other side and be clearly heard. There was a lot of that. “Honey, I’ve forgotten more than you’ll ever know!” was one of the best... or worst, comments. The Stormtroopers pulled out a 2-0 victory, with the same boy scoring both. You have to credit their defense though, I know a couple boys on the Crocs to be great athletes and they just couldn’t pop one home.
