The Pink Panthers was on my list of teams I hoped to squeeze in AFTER the schedule was made. I was able to stop by twice for short visits. I miss Riverdale, it’s a great field for shooting. I only visited one other time there this season. During the Purple Pixie’s game Karissa (bottom left) was in goal. Sometimes she and I hang out during her brother’s practice and when she saw me she stopped watching the ball to wave at me. Cute, but the play kept coming her way and she couldn’t refocus in time to stop the ball at the end of a close game. Oh well... at least it wasn’t a 12U Club match right?
