Glenview Elementary School, Anaheim, CA. - On a Facebook post, I saw that Maddie and Sophia played on a club soccer team together. With wiggle room on Sundays, I was able to drop by for a game. I’d seen both Sophia and Maddie play in softball All-Star games, so I know they’re athletes. I saw Maddie playing soccer for PSA a year or two ago and was blown away by her speed and confidence. In this game, the only goal was scored with confusion on the field as the referee let the play continue despite a Boca player being down injured. It was behind the play so I understand not blowing the whistle, but you hate to see a goal scored while girls are worrying about their injured teammate.
